On Saturday evening, TimeLine Events organised a night photographic shoot with the Army Historic Aircraft Flight at Middle Wallop.
This is the first batch, of three sets of photos that I will post. There are more photos from this batch on my Middle Wallop Flickr page https://www.flickr.com/photos/wwshack/albums/72157658668074824

Not for Airliners 🙂 This was a delightful mistake. The Sioux XT131 lifted off and turned while I was still shooting a long exposure.

The Scout, XT626 lifting off and going backwards

As an added extra, TLE organised for Wasp XT787 G-KAXT to join the daytime shoot.

Ah right, I hadn’t thought about you using filters 🙂

The clue is in the clouds Alan.
I think that I used either the three or the ten stop ND filter, it is a 15 second exposure and I seem to have got away with it except for the colour, which could have been better.

Nice set of pictures.
The third shot is interesting. It was a long exposure, but is not over exposed.
Was it low light at the time, or corrected in software ?
