Midland Air Museum – Military Vehicle Rally 29th-30th April 2006

Anyone interested in popping along to this weekend’s event at the Midland Air Museum is more than welcome… Forumites will no doubt be intrigued to see the Sea Hawk’s ongoing restoration as detailed in another post, the Canberra should be ‘live’, as well as the Hunter, and there’s so much more to see at this friendly volunteer run collection… I’m sure there will be more volunteers there than on a normal weekend, so more exhibits may be opened up, staff permitting of course. The incoming vehicle exhibits usually generate interest of their own, and we usually see a wide variety of US and UK vehicles present over the weekend. They set up in amongst the outdoor aircraft so it’s a good photo opportunity too, for those interested in the combined vehicle / aircraft settings….

Museum opening times as normal – the fun comes for us after closing when my camera will beat the ready to catch the ‘live’ exhibits at dusk…. 😀
