While I was on holiday in the US in April I was lucky enough to stop by the Commemorative Air Force’s B-29/B-24 Wing in Midland, TX.

I’ve no idea what the Tomcat will be doing there. I do know that it was one of the pair that shot down one of the two Libyan MiG 23s a few years back.

It must have been awesome to see the B-29 in the air and to hear those four radials must have been quite a sound. Nice to see the CAF have a Tomcat on hand, any idea on what kind of role it will have?
