SBLim-2 (i.e. Polish-built UTIMiG-15) restored by the “Polish Eagles” Foundation has made its public debut at the air show in Pardubice, Czech Republic, last Saturday. This coming weekend it will appear for the first time in front of Polish public, at the 15th Goraszka International Air Picnic. Although Goraszka (just outside Warsaw) is the home of the “Polish Eagles” the MiG will not be based there as the airfield has only a grass strip.

Ahah! 😀 Thanks, I hadn’t seen that tucked away in the corner! In my screen resolution it’s just out of the picture.

an interesting website (with a bit of help from Google Translate!
I think if you click the little Union Jack in the top right corner the text might be much more understandable!

Thanks again VoyTech, an interesting website (with a bit of help from Google Translate!). Do I understand correctly that there is also a single-seater under restoration?

Great news VoyTech, thanks for sharing. It’s great to have an airworthy MiG-15 in Europe again.
Is there a website for the Polish Eagles? I’ve tried Googling and not come up with anything.
