We are in the middle of restoration of a MiG-17PF. Unfortunately we don’t have single scheme for painting the tech captions. If you guys have a scheme or any detailed pictures of MiG-17PF (probably most of the text on any MiG-17 is the same) in russian language (because our plane originally came with russian texts on it) you may help us a lot. Excellent work mate..Looks fantastic with the new scheme…Migs look best with lots of natural metal showing..Who gets to polish her.??
Never been polished at all. We’ve just painted some parts of the fuselage because of rust damages and scratches. This is how she looks after washing with some detergents. In the next couple of weeks we are going to polish her.

Have you tried the various modelling sites for info?They are usually pretty demanding for realism and accuracy in their hobby.
