MiG-23 Question

Hey guys. I found this interesting drawing somewhere on the net, and thought I’d post it because I have a question.

In the photo you can see a pylon fitted with FOUR R-60’s (AA-8 Aphid). And this pylon appears to be one that is fitted under the wing glove. I thought the R-60 was carried in pairs under the fuselage to either side of the centerline hardpoint and if necessary an additional R-60 could be carried under each wing glove for a theoretical maximum of six.

If this four R-60 pylon deal actually is possible that would be like 12 R-60’s total!

I know that wouldn’t be a realistic warload, but it’s interesting to think about.

Has any MiG-23 ever carried the four R-60 launcher?
