MiG-25 Foxbat in 2010

With the relative success of the other “2010” threads, I figured I’d start another on a well-known Russian bird that I’ve always had a fascination with. Certainly not a perfect airplane, the Foxbat has always captured the imagination…at least it has mine.

I was doing some searching and it seems that the MiG-25 remains in very limited service with about 6 countries: Russia, Syria, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Algeria.

If anyone can correct me on this information that would be great..I don’t know for sure how correct it is.

In any case I thought I’d see what others around the forum could tell me about the seemingly limited flying the Foxbat is doing these days, and perhaps what all variants remain in service. (From what I can gather, the MiG-25RB, MiG-25PU, and MiG-25PD are the variants still flying.)
