A MIG 29 on ebay.
firstly how serious are they?
Is this viable to fly on the private circuit in most countries.
I guess it would be quite hard to convince the CAA to let you fly ione over here.
And lastly who would buy one to fly if they had the money.
I would only prob is I would probably black out in the first serious G turn.
LOL

They have “several aircrafts of MIG-29B-12” according to the blurb…interestingly the B-12 version was a ‘Downgraded export version for non-Warsaw Pact nations. Lacked a nuclear weapon delivery system and possessed downgraded radar, ECM and IFF’ according to the tinterweb.
You have nine days to change your mind as it has been relisted!:D

I’m entirely unconvinced that these are genuine items – unless the Russians are that desperate that they use a seller registered in the UK????
Also, the ad’s use stock pics of this type, so you have no idea which one you’re bidding on – yeah well I won’t be bidding…. :dev2:

I was once told that you couldn’t buy or sell armaments or weaponry on EBAY – anyone know if that is that correct?
Just reading the ‘spec’ and this has been stripped of all military items like these – so it’s been ‘civilianised’ or so it reads…

Depends if anyone reports it! 😮
Seriously though there also seems to be a relationship with the seller’s status in ebay’s eyes i.e. how much they have paid in fees in the past and how much eBay are likely to get in fees if it sells 🙁 All in my own personal opinion – of course! 😉

£3.9million on buy-it-now:eek:
Buyer hasn’t received any feedback for the purchase yet, but has left positive feedback for the seller already…
Your purchase is fully protected by Paypal ‘WHATEVER THE AMOUNT‘!:D
Don’t think my account would cover that!
