Contrary to previous info there seems to be some new :confused: evidence that PRC explored/used/manufactured the Mig 31 in the late 90’s .
Bill Yenne’s latest book “Secret Weapons of the Cold War”,Berkley 2005 alludes that a licensed version of Mig 31 may have been prodcued in limited nos in Shenyang post 1992 and Yefim’s Gordon’s latest book on Mig 31 also speaks of PLAAF as an operator .
