A dual purpose thread I suppose…. satisfy my curiosity and add some reference material for the MiG lovers out there.
I’ve had this little beastie as a decoration in my office for some time and would like to know just what each bit is/does. The stuff I do know is as follows… MiG-21 (Somali), centre panel (between the knees), assuming Armament panel and toggles etc. at top are for release (missing a fuse).
I’ve also attached a recreation of what is typed inside the ‘illuminating’ panels. These are by no means great high-tech creations, the knobs simply turn 1/4 turn each direction and open/close a mechanical gate behind the windows – pushing the knob turns on the lights (1 bulb per window).
Any idea what type of voltage would have run this?
