Is there a isn’t of surviving MiGs that are on display anywhere in the uk? The demobbed website only gives details of aircraft used buy the RAF that are in preservation. I know there is a 23 and a 27 at Newark, a 15 at Yeovilton, Flixton and Cosford but are there others?

Thanks for all the replies folks, does any one know what happened to the 21 at Bournemouth?

The really rare models seem to be the MiG 19 Farmer – and of course the MiG 25 Foxbat.

Whatever happened to the MiG-17 that floated around between Duxford, North Weald and Bournemouth? Where did that one end up?

I hear air-relics are selling a Mig21 project on behalf of a previous owner.

Ok but does it matter that they are not “true” MiGs? Do we complain that Handley Page built Canberras are not true English Electric Canberras?

East Fortune’s Mig 15 as listed on Euro demobbed is actually a licence build. It’s correctly identified as an Letov S-103
Likewise it’s 2 seat cockpit section (held in deep store) isn’t a true Mig either.

Don’t forget the Mig-23 and Mig-27 on display at Newark Air Museum.

Try Euro Demobbed
http://www.eurodemobbed.org.uk/ukmap/ukmap.php
I does not have a index for individual types but does contain non RAF types.
