For fans of the lovely Miles M2 Hawk, a brand new model in 1/48th scale is now available from Kiwi Resins
See here

Has anyone got any detail shots of the Miles M2 Hawk that may assist the modeller please? I am getting one of the kits hopefully. Any cockpit shots or details will be much appreciated. I’m sure there must be a few still active or preserevd in the UK? Thanks.

I did speak to Dave – very prompt response and clear about the canopy issue. Looking forward to my Mew Gull…
Even with shipping the prices seem very reasonable indeed. When I checked the exchange rate the total price came in well under twenty quid. Might treat myself to a Hawk as well!

Dave Lochead has just added two more Hawk variants to the range, one being an M2w, the other a “Cirrus Hawk”

He also says that the Mew Gull canopies and the Airtrainer canopies are three weeks away, so I think that gives us an indication of when those two kits will be available.

You’re probably best off contacting Dave Lochead (the manufacturer) directly. His email is at the top ofthe webpage, skygodnz…
Good luck
Dave

Top stuff. Can I order through the website? Do I need an international money order or will they take a card?

Very nice. Any idea when the Mew Gull will be available?
How much does shipping cost to the UK by the way?
