Miles Mercury for sale

Not sure how to contact you Hairyplane, but I guess you know that the only surviving Miles M28 is for sale on http://www.planecheck.com. Would that help to complete the Miles “set”? It would be nice to see it back in the UK.

I remember that Miles being based at Woodford for a few summers a few years back. Great sound from such a small aircraft. No such great sounds now at woodford, only the turbofan whine of the mra4 and a few spam cans doing circuits. Oh for the days of Griffons, Merlins and Olympus’s (Olympi?).

You’d get a shiny new Maule M4 for that money.

That’s the same site I found HP’s then future ’22 on 🙂 Cubs are totally over-rated hence the price. Better to import from the US in some cases.

I thought the Mercury had been back in the U.K for a little while now based in the Midlands.
