Military and Aviation Book Fair, Duxford

Don’t forget folks, this Sunday 23 November , its the Military and Aviation Book Fair at Duxford.

It’s in the Land Warfare Museum (where the tanks don’t have goldfish in them).

Oh bother. I was hoping no one would notice that it was in the AAM, so that I could get first pick of the books.

Did anyone go? I would have done had I known about it before I drove past the Museum just as it was closing yesterday 🙁 And yes, that’s pretty unbelievable for someone who works at Duxford I know, but it would have been nice to be given advance notice by someone in the Museum, I would have enjoyed a good browse…

Gripe over.

Ashley

P.S. Nice avatar Sparky…I recognise it from the front cover of the “Duxford Diary” (the original that the Americans wrote in 1945) but cannot remember off the top of my head which squadron it is…but I bet it’s Twilight Tear’s squadron 😉
