The military heritage preservation charity, Essex HMVA, regrets to announce their flagship event, Military and Flying Machines will unfortunately not take place in 2018.

The Essex HMVA were unable to comply with the terms and conditions that had been imposed upon us by the landowner at Blackwater, and as a result were regrettably unable to secure the site used for last year’s show in 2017. In addition, negotiations to use a nearby site have also not been successful. Given these delays, the trustees have agreed the best course of action would be not to hold Military and Flying Machines in 2018 and instead rest the show for one year, with a view to return in 2019, the proposed dates for the show will be the 10th and 11th of August 2019.”
