Engines efficiency is rated based on SFC. We all know that russian engines are less efficient (allegedly ??? :dev2: ) when compared with western engines. How is the comparison done.. anybody has data on it..
Also in Automobiles we know that the efficiency of the engine is affected by the quality of the gas. So how the military engines are adapted to different quality of aviation fuel in different countries.. Are any specific modifications done to counter poor quality fuel ????
