Been thinking about what happens after being hit by a bus or asteroid or after eating that suspect chicken curry I’ve had in the fridge eight days after it’s use-by date.
For years I thought it would be neat to have my ashes scattered in front of where the control tower once stood on my spiritual home (some former aerodrome on East Yorkshire). But considering that it is likely that the entire site will end up becoming one giant housing estate, I’m left in limbo.
I was going to post this message on historic aviation, but believe that I’d be shunned. So, what do I do, and where would you like to be laid to rest? Perhaps a favourite aerodrome or beauty spot? Please be serious. Please don’t be serious. Make us laugh. Make us cry.
Me? I’ll probably end up someone in Yorkshire – somewhere quiet and somewhere to rest.
