Mini Digital Video Cassette to ???

Today I took possession of a Mini DV Digital Video Cassette which I have no way of viewing.

I’d like to trasfer it to something that I can view.

DVD looks favourite. VHS would do.

Any ideas how this is achieved?

Ah, many thanks for that.

I doubt it is in long play since there should be about 35 minutes of realtime footage on what I presume is a 60 minute tape

If its just a straight transfer to DVD-R I’d be happy to do it for you, its just a case of dump the footage to the PC via firewire, encode to MPEG2 and encode as DVD video.

Only problem I could think of is if its been recorded in long play mode, sometimes they don’t play well in cameras other than they were recorded on, but I’d be happy to give it a go 🙂
