I’ve always been facinated with small planes, I used to dream of a squadron of armed BD-5J’s taking off from under a bridge near where I went to school and takeing on an incoming force.
Reality check Ja, the BD-5J wouldn’t hold much ammo let alone any missiles, it has a hard enough time just getting the pilot up! But the HDI and as GD has pointed out in another thread, the J-12 are aof a practicale size but whilest the J-12 was cancelled and the Javelin shows promise what are the realities, short range, limited ammo.
Given these could a small plane be usefull in a way as to warrent AF usage?
