minimum engagement ranges at low altitude for SAM ?

in the case of a low altitude engagement ( the target is tracked ) of a plane or cruise missile by a SAM with vertical launching like SA-15/S-300 what would be the minimum range according of the fact that the missile must do an inverted parabola !
