Mirage 2000 in 2010

With all of the constant discussion on jets like the Rafale, I got to wondering about the “other” modern French jet…the Mirage 2000.

From what I can gather, the 2000 isn’t in any danger of being retired anytime soon by most of its operators (if I’m wrong on this please correct me), but I’d like to know more about what the 2000 force worldwide is doing these days.

I was reading up on it and trying to see what new information I could find, and figured here was a good place to get additional information.

I’ve heard that the MICA IR has or might be integrated onto the AdA’s Mirage 2000C/D fleet…..is this true? I know the 2000-5 carries the weapon, but can the 2000C with RDI radar and the strike optimized 2000D carry the missile?

Any photos of French Mirage 2000’s with the missile outside of the fairly well-known Mirage 2000-5 prototype photographs?
