Hey with all the interest in the FAP MiG-29S/SE/UBs I guess I will open one on the FAP Mirage 2000P. The planes currently serve with the 412 squadron. From what I have read the 12 Mirage 2000EP/DPs came with the R-550 Mk.2, AS-30L, BGL-1000, ATLIS II, 231-200 buddy refueling tanks, 1700 liter under wing fuel tanks, 1300 liter center line fuel tanks and now have the LIZARD guided bombs. During the Cenepa valley conflict they flew some CAPs but never engaged the FAE in spite of the fact their RDM radars were “felt” by the FAE Mirage F-1s.
A couple questions…
1. Does anyone know how many Super 530Ds were ordered?
2. Was the AM-39 ordered for use on the Mirage 2000EP/DPs?
3. Have they gone on any air to ground missions since delivery?
4. Any plans for a future upgrade to the planes past the fitting of Israeli guided bombs?
5. What type of munitions is on the plane below? I know those are Mk.82SEs on the ground but what is on the fuselage loading point?
