Miss Demeanour?

Anyone know whether Jonathon Whalley will be displaying Miss Demanour this year, as she was recently withdrawn from the Kemble line-up, and the link to the Heritage Aviation page has been removed from the main Kemble airfield site?

Surely if an engine’s been maintained but not run for a year it’s got to be in better nick than one which has been frequently run during the same period? I’m usually on the CAA’s side when it comes to rules and regs, but this one seems a bit odd.

It is an interesting fact that your bog/basic Lycoming generally runs for about 2000 hours life, then even possibly an extension of another 200 in flying school aircraft, whereas the average single-owner or small group aircraft seldom reaches beyond 1,000 hours before needing fundamental work.

I e-mailed him a couple of weeks ago asking why he had been taken off of the Classic Jet Airshow list and his reply was “fingers crossed i may be back on for Kemble”.

Cheers Damien. Will Jonathon be displaying anything this year? i.e. the other Delta Hunters for instance.
