The single engine plane was flying from the Isle of Man to Blackpool and is feared to have ditched. Helicopters and surface ships are currently searching the area. Fingers crossed for a successful outcome.

This is believed to be the aircraft, Rockwell Commander, 2-ROAM. Wreckage has been found, but no pilot.
