Typhoon Bomb Test Successful

BAE Systems has announced the first release of a Paveway IV precision guided bomb from a Typhoon using onboard avionics.

🙂
ETA: Now the MoD needs to work on inexpensive weapons that do not require the launching airplane to be in close proximity to the target.

Im not sure how they will figure out the exact location of the carrier group or mannouver the warhead for speed and direction changes in terminal stages.

But looking at the acuracy, can Iranians now not use this warhead for surgical strikes on land targets?

I’d be interested in seeing it tested against a 30-40 knot target.

Even though it is a stangnant target. Hitting it with A ballistic missile is already an achievement.
