The BBMF Lancaster seemed to RV with a Mitchell over Goring/Streatley at about 1515 on Sunday 26th.
Anyone have any more info? I saw the two of them from the top of Cholsey Hill, from where I was getting a free view of the Vachers’ Air Day, which was superb.
The Mitchell then tracked NE along the Chilterns, perhaps towards Duxford?

Yes quite possible.. ‘Grumpy’ took off from Dx and formated with a Spitfire then dissapeared for a while, before returning in formation.!
