I am not sure that this aircraft has ever been even mentioned on this board so I figured I would post a thread about it. I am not going to start saying it is some “perfect” airplane or anything, I am just trying to get it a little recognition. Many of you may think it doesn’t deserve any, and if you disagree with me, that is fine, just don’t get on this thread and bash it. I just want ot have a nice discussion on the aircraft and its roles within the JASDF. I personally think it is quite a nice looking aircraft even though it does have somewhat of a hunch-back look to it. I am aware that it will soon be replaced by the F-2. I think it has served the JASDF well, and I hope the F-2 will be a worthy successor. I am sure it will be even though it is so expensive. Well, enough of my rambling, on to the discussion.
P.S. I actually was able to find out the info I usually ask for so I just want this thread to be a discussion. If a question does come up, I will ask it though. Thanks.
