Mitsubishi F-2

I’m not generally a big fan of the F-16, but for some reason, I like the looks of the F-2. I was wondering if anyone could fill me in on the current status of the JASDF’s fleet, IOC dates, etc. How many are to be ordered in all? Also, does the thing have 11 or 13 total hardpoints (counting the wingtip positions). I’ve seen both quoted, yet I just can’t see how 13 would be possible. Heck, 11 is pushing it, although I’ve seen pictures to prove that.

How many F-1’s does the JASDF have that need to be replaced?
