Mix'em up – compose with components

We all seem to love useless threads, so here is a thread for all of us to use our brains in doing something useless.

Your job is to pick components of aircraft (airframe, engines, avionics, radar, the lot) from all around the world, and create your own wet-dream fighter. A little realism would be nice though; so no Zaslon radars in the nose of a Hawk200, and ye shall neither fit a CFM56 in an L29.

But what about an AWG-9 equipped MiG-25, making it a most serious interceptor? Or how about fitting NK12 engines to the R3Y Tradewind rather than that piece-of-sh!t Allison T-40 engine. And while we’re at it: how cool would it be if the Viggen was pushed through the skies by something like the R15F, an F-111 with two AL21s, or a Su-24 with two F110s…

And however useless this thread might seem… remember that the A-7 was only saved when they started putting Speys in them.
