Mk 5 Proctor USA attache

Hi
As anyone please got details – pics of the colour sceme used on the Mk5 Proctor used by the British Air Attache to the USA in the late 1940s – 1950s

The true scheme is needed for the possible application to the restoration such an airframe.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Thank you inanticipation

Looking at the photo in the Norman Ellison book, I would suggest overall Silver finish, with red cheatline, black leading edges and anti-glare panel. The spats are also a different colour to the airframe but it is difficult to make out from the photo whether they are red or black.

I’ll try and scan the photo in when I have access to a scanner.

Tom.

Do You Mean G-AHGN?

There is an air to air picture of it overflying the capitol in Washington in the book on percival aircraft from the archive photographs series by Norman H Ellison.

I don’t have a scanner but it is in a light overall colour with a dark cheatline and registration on the rear fuselage. the upper part of the cowling is black and it also has an RAF fin flash .

Hope this helps
