Mk5 Vampire piece

Hi all,
Wondering if anybody can help me out here.
Have what looks like part of the remains of a Vampire Mk5 u/c leg.
2 sets of numbers and letters cast into the bit read as follows…………

CAZ2R(8)0.

5
800184

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I dont have any pics of the piece.

Drem.

Nothing there that specifically identifies it as Vampire.

You’ll have to take some pictures!

Vampire parts numbers start with a letter, which denotes where it goes on the aircraft, followed by 00 (the type number), followed by a further 3 or 4 numbers.

An example might be A001234.

It gets more complicated with DH113 and DH115, as they used a different numbering system, but still have a lot of DH100 parts (as do all of the DH112 series)
