The American Actor Tom Cruise has been taking lesson in part to get ready for his new film…where a Yank comes over and shoots down over 45 German planes in The Eagle Squardon …..now the truth can be told that he was the top scoring american of WWII …even over **** Bong ! That were ML-407 has been ! ( just kidding..put away the battle axes) !

Oh so that’s what the green / grey aircraft was when I popped in for a very nice cup of coffee last week?

Why was she away from home?

I read she was at Earls Colne for maintenance.

Yep, Cambridgeshire really is quite a handy place to live if you like your warbirds. I feel some days ‘working from home’ in the back garden coming up later this year… 🙂

So, did we establish where ML407 had been? I would have thought any winter maintenance would be done at Duxford?

Was very nice to see her out and about on Saturday evening as well. Family thought I was going mad as I kept looking out of the window muttering about hearing the sound of a Merlin.
