A unique style and a great fighter, a rare breed, an open and honest politician, current MPs on both sides of the house could learn a few things from her.

She had a great sense of humour too. She was on Frank Skinner’s show once with Ron Jeremy, the porn actor, she threw out a couple of great one liners.

I’d second the latter part of your statement Snapper. Whilst neither were perfect, this country has a lot to thank both Robin Cook and Mo Mowlem for. A loss of two grand people and certainly great politicians.

Such a shame thats 2 of the Best MPs in modern Labour gone, Mo was a strong character and someone i had a lot of respect for.
