Hello, Is there such a thing as a list of MOD part numbers for engines like there is for airframe parts. We have the chance to look at a numbers of boxed spares for sale and want to know which relate to the Gipsy Queen range of engines. I have done a search of the forum but only found them for airframe parts.

Ken, I have a code of 36FF, which, says the list, is for Gipsy Major and Gipsy Queen & de Havilland engine tools. Seeing as the other 36-codes refer directly to engines of a particular type this is probably also the code for the engine spares.
There doesn’t appear to be a 36-code for the engine itself so that must be it, hopefully someone will be along to confirm this to be the case – or not.
