Monarch Airlines Help

I fly to ACE quite a lot on Monarch from BHX most recently on Thursday afternoon, mostly operating A321’s I find them a pleasure as their aircraft are always clean. I ALWAYS pay for extra leg room usually sitting in row 4 or 5 when booking on their website. The last 2 times I have had the set of 3 seats to myself 😀

I had the misfortune of returning on Sunday on Thomsonfly (757) which I found to be dirty with trim falling off seats and overhead lockers.

I have just come back from spain last night on the A321’s.

If your over 6ft 1 I would pay extra for leg room mate.

Worst seats in the house are just in front of the exit row, **** takingly tight. 1 row behind has the most, window seat behind has no seat in front!!! But it costs £15 more, choice is yours.

The exit rows have no windows btw.

Flight was great, crew so much nicer then any other “low cost” airlines!! Will use again with out doubt. Even with a 2 hour delay because the starter motor had gone on the flight out they let us stand on steps leading to the plane for some fresh air.

Thanks to everyone for telling what aircraft its likely to be. ANother question now lol What seat is recomended on Monarchs 757 or A321?

Hey everyone! This is my first post here so be nice 🙂

I’m flying with Monarch on the 29th of July from LGW to IBZ on ZB292 and returning on the 8th of August on ZB293. I just wondered if anyone knew what aircraft will be operated on these routes?

Also, can someone please tell me what Monarch aircraft are based at Gatwick for the summer season please?

Probably a B757 or A321 with compliements that Monarch is such a lovely airline!

Both flights are currently planned to operate on the 757.

Just had a look and for the last couple of weeks, the route has been operated by a variety of aircraft, including G-MONK, G-OZBP and G-MONE, so I would guess you are looking at a 321 or 757.

Thanks LBARules, I will have to let you know when I get back. Hoping it’s an A321 as i’ve not flown on one before. Also how do you see what aircraft has been on what routes?
