Point number one in any sort of product design – i got marks deducted in my AS IT for having Blue and Red put together – colour blind people have problems with it apparently!

A makeover is long overdue for Monarch – These new colours seem quite pleasant, especially compared to the likes of JMC and the awful TUI livery that Britannia has adopted. Talking about the new BY livery – I saw one of their 757’s departing from BHX earlier this week, freshly painted in the horrific blue hue – The red titling looks truly awful too. So, these leads me to ask the following questions to the people that came up with this so called new livery:

Q1. Are you colour blind?
Q2. Have you ever taken any recreational drugs in the past two years?
Q3. Did you like the Korean Air livery so much you tried to copy it?
Q4. Did it take you 40 seconds to design the livery, sketching the original concept on the back of a matchbox?
Q5. Were you trying to draw fire away from the hated JMC colours, taking the title of “Worst airline livery ever” from them too?
Q6. Are you over the age of 12 years?

At least Monarch have tried keeping their livery faithful to the original brand.

Yes it does…I like it. There is still the main scheme there, its just been modernised and looks trendy. The old one needed a change. Not a complete change though and I think Monarch have got it just right. Well done people!

Most impressive… don’t want them ebing left behind when nearly every other airline changes it’s livery! Most impressive.
