Been reading of MON’s apparent impending decision to stop AGP-BLK flights (due to Jet2’s presence allegedly).
With AGP-NQY already dropped, that leaves AGP-ABZ as the only one of the 3 new routes from AGP from provincial airports that MON launched last year.
However with GSM setting up base camp from ABZ in 2007, & AGP heavily touted to be one of their routes, will MON pull the plug on ABZ as well (it is of course the longest of the 3 routes they launched). Or will they put up a fight.
Should say no reports or suggestions as yet that MON are about to axe ABZ. But I don’t think AGP would sustain 2 operators. Then again ABZ has surprised before, & passenger numbers at the airport are currently soaring.
