Monchengladbach

Hi,

Following on from my trip to Bonn, my next stop was Monchengladbach.

Although I got flashed by a speed camera going through Cologne, my spirits were pretty high by the time I reached MGB as the torrential rain of Bonn stopped, and I was confronted with an interesting selection of aircraft.

I’m no engineer, but something told me that BH Airlines ATR-72 wasn’t going anywhere for a day or two:-

Another ATR was this American Eagle example:-

It isn’t everyday that you see a Casa 212, and two were present at the airport, including N437CA:-

Several biz jets were around as well, like D-CWII:-

I hope the photos are of interest – some more can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/

Thanks very much.

Tartan – it is very worthwhile visiting when you are passing. It had a wide selection of ga, biz jets and a few airliners to make it a very interesting airpor.
