dark light

Mondays Manchester Montage

It was such a lovely morning that I decided to go by train and grab a few landing shots from Heald Green station on the way.

I’m glad I did, because the glorious weather wasn’t going to last……

1) A319 OH-LVF of Finnair.
2) B737 G-CELF of Jet2.
3) B757 G-CPEL of BA. Note the “staggered” tail design.
4) Emb145 G-ERJD of British Regional (or whatever they’re called this week).
5) B757 G-OPJB of Astraeus.
6) A320 SX-BVC of Hellas Jet. A vanishing breed. 🙁
7) A330 G-OMYT of MyTravel.
8) A330 N677UW of US Airways.
9) B747-300F B-KAB of Dragonair Cargo. Yes – that is rain falling behind it!

Enjoy……. 😀

Lovely shots Grey…….I love MAN, shame we only get to go a couple of times a year (I’m only 14 and brother 13 so not exactly easy to get there and back in a day on our own without mum/dad knowing :))

Great shots indeed and your comments are very true bmused. I hope Ill make a larger contribution of Dublin pictures when I get my car.

And one more thing. Where are HellasJet going. Ive been to their website and it just says they will be stopping operations soon. Its the first airline Im aware of who announces they are stopping flights.

Brilliant shots as ever Grey 🙂

This site must be the best for photography on the net, alright, the absolute quality may not always be as good as airliners.net, but we get better angles and less worked with shots than the big photo sites that wouldnt get on those. 🙂
