The Australian National Aviation Museum at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne has been gifted an Australian built GAF Canberra B.20 bomber serialed A84-226 by Air Force Heritage. This aircraft served with No.2 Squadron RAAF before retirement. It then spent many years as an instructional airframe at the RAAF’s School of Technical Training a Wagga NSW before being put on display in front of the cadets mess on the base grounds. It will now take its place amongst the finest collection of Australian designed or built aircraft on Earth. While not a Vietnam veteran it fills an important void in the Museum collection.
