More airfield finds

Dear Forum,

I spent this morning rooting around a old airfield with a metal detector. and found a nice piece of aircraft ,made of stainless steel, with the Stampings of

V18 63727 577 . and V34 63727 577 on the reverse side, the V Numbers 18/34 seem to be a inspection stamp.

Item looks to be roughly 7cm wide, x nearly 90 cm long, a pressed plate surrounded by rivets. I also noticed its stained through heat, and was painted black at one time in the past.

I will try and get a photo on here as soon as i can, But does anyone know maybe what aircraft this was from, probably a Bristol aircraft as it was found near a Bristol aircraft factory … do the numbers 63727 577 mean Anything to anyone ???
