More airworthy Il-2 Sturmoviks?

The current Military Machines International (another Key publication) makes reference to the November 2011 Moscow Red Square Parade marking the 70th anniversary of the parade held in November 1941

Reference was also made to an anniversary parade in Samara, east of Moscow which was said to include two Il-2 Sturmoviks in honour of the 600 which took part in the 1941 parade.

So are there two additional airworthy Il-2 Sturmoviks in addition to the FHC example?

There is a superbly restored Il-2 on a plinth on a roundabout in Samara – I photographed it in 2007….

IIRC, after our visit, it was taken down and re-painted and put back up.

A few links to it I found:-

seems it was the FHC example after all, accompanied by a Po-2

Nice to see though that it was displayed in Russian skies before being shipped to the US

Il-2

Dave

The only thing to add was that a second rear fuselage was constructed at the same time as the first.

Besides that, nothing more.
