Dust is the payback from DSLRs for getting such good images. Its not a problem as such I just needs to be carefully monitored.

If you havent seen it yet I recommend you follow the sensor cleaning method Here

The first time certainly raises the Pucker factor, however once perfected you’ll soon be going at it using considerable elbow grease.

Doesn’t detract from the pictures though:D

Thanks Gareth, I’ll give it a try, just when I thought dust was a thing of the past!

Wonderful photographs Steveb, wish I could have managed to get to RIAT this year now…

For anyone having trouble with dust on the sensor of a D-SLR then SpotKiller is worth checking out, its a freeware utility discussed at DPreview which can save an age with the clone tool, and, once set up can batch process a whole folder of images automatically.

Nice pictures mate.

Glad to see I’m not the only one with dust on the sensor, break out the clone tool 😀 😀

Thanks Damien. Where were you hiding this weekend, I didn’t see you!!

Whiskey Delta, I use a digital SLR (Canon 10D) and the lens is 100 – 400mm. The photos are uncropped & straight out of the camera.

More photos to follow!:)

Nice pictures. Are they digital or film? and what kind of equipment and zoom do you use to get in so close?
