Guys. Thanks again for the comments 😎 The A330 is A7-AEA it is Qatar Airways aircraft on a scheduled flight.
Tenthije; depending on traffic/time of day etc… i can usually do it in under 6 hours through the night. (that is a medium range jolly for me…i have recently done Glasgow to Rome, Prague, Lyon, Porto,Zurich and all over France,Germany,Netherlands and Belgium, as my job, good perks are free spotting trips, although time restricted 😉 )

So do we know if the A330 in the photo is also a gov’t issue?

I dont believe it is, but not 100%. Cant recall one being reported being about yesterday.

All the Qatar Government aircraft are painted in the Qatar Airways scheme. It looks more sensible on the Airbus fleet which is indistinctive from the Qatar Airways mainline aircraft, however on the Biz Jets it is slightly more obvious who they operate for which makes them look quite strange 😀

The only exception is the 747SP which lives at Bournemouth which has its own scheme, although I’m not sure its technically a government aircraft.

What’s the deal with the Qatar Challenger/Global Express?

Nice photos! Can’t wait to get back there.

Did you really drive from LHR to GLA? How long does such a trip take? 6 or so hours?

Thanks Mark
Que c’era on the Brazilians 🙁 Read about them coming on the LHR list) last i heard was due late night/early morning..Unfortunately, my job dictates what time i get at airports. Not bad though, was there from 11am till 3:30 then back up the motorway to Glasgow, beats my usual “touch and go” 😀

Great shots on both threads. It looks like you missed yesterdays highlights, the Brazilian entourage in their 319 and 707 though?
