Well… It looks like Tom and I were among a few Key people at MAN today!
Without really knowing it at the time, a lot of my shots today have a common theme, and that theme basically is capturing the giants that inhabit our skies at angles rarely seen in the typical side on shots, that convey an impression of just how huge these aircraft really are. First are a few random shots from the day, then the heavies at the end (including a certain rather large Russian).
The first one by the way is my first ever shot of the JET2 146!
Enjoy!

😀
YOUR camera? Oh yeah………………. :D.
I will try mate, you will see plenty of inflight shots if the aircraft has pointy things especially!
Watch me get Cable and Wireless second time around ;).
I still need to see C&W at LBA, so if you get that on the way out on Wednesday it will make my day as well!
My gigs next week are Friday and Saturday, so I should be able to make it for your departure (and your parents!)

Haha, you fat………… PERSON!!!
Ok mate, no probs, let’s hope the decent weather we seem to have had some of lately continues! The 5 day forecast looks promising, I also expect you to drag your butt up on Wednesday to get photos of my flight!
Believe me, the only reason I shall be there is to get a shot of that nice colour scheme FR have. It will have NOTHING to do with the fact you will be on that plane.
:diablo:
By the way, I still expect you to point my camera towards at least a few aircraft while you’re at DUB!

Man? Chester?
No probs mate, forgot to mention, you still up for the early morning session at LBA when I take my parents for their flights to Rome on Monday? If so, you will need to get your rather ample butt over here about 08:30. I will have to leave just after 12 to go to work :).
Rather ample butt? I have one word for you Sir. Ginger.
Yeah I’m up for it mate, no doubt I’ll text you on Sunday at some point!

Thanks for your comments guys. It was a good day. Hopefully at some point in the next few weeks I’ll be getting the Sigma 50-500 DG, so no doubt I’ll be christening it at LBA and MAN!
Thanks also for the company Tom, you daft *******!

LANCE
Even i had to make a special dinner time visitation for a certain “BEAST” and well worth it it was to.
Just a shame that i was spotted at that time as i only stayed on that mound for about 2 minutes then went on taste the delights of a cheesburger with onions for lunch 😉 😉
