More From MAN! 30/12/06

Hi All,

The weather was not with us (again) today, so 6 shots is all I have to offer from today, but we were treat to a rather superb takeoff from a Cathay Pacific Cargo 747! Enjoy!

Now something completely different, at least in terms of the medium used! I know so many photographers who’ve made the transition from using film to digital. I wanted to know what it was like going the other way, so I found a Canon film SLR on eBay for 20 quid, loaded it with film and took it to MAN. These are scanned from the prints I had done today. Not the greatest quality scans (and yes, I’ve cheated and done a bit of playing with them in Photoshop!) But nonetheless I thought it might be interesting to show a few shots taken in a slightly more traditional way.

Taken with an EOS 1000F, Tamron 28-300 XR Di Macro and standard Boots ISO 200 film.

Now where did I put that 30D? 🙂

Excellent as ever, mate! The FlyGlobespan 767 really is a cracking looking machine, and love the first Cathay shot!

Cheers for the company, also. 🙂
