DRDO has a new website for Aeroindia 2003 (Feb) to be held next year. It is much better than their official one and brings out many of their lesser known products.
Here it is:

Thanx
PS: the rest of this post is mostly copy-paste from the website.

It is a cost effective, reusable system used for the training of land, ship based air defence crews and combat pilots in weapon training. It is the first indigenous flight vehicle which is being inducted by all the three arms of Indian Armed Forces. It is already in use by Indian Air Force and Navy. LAKSHYA can be ground or ship launched from a zero length launcher. LAKSHYA is remotely piloted from a Ground Control Station (GCS).

It has the necessary ECCM to counter- present and future ECM threats. It can also be used as an anti-sea skimmer against low-flying missile attack, by the Navy.
