More Monarch Scheduled routes

My God!!! I must be slipping!! It’s taken me almost a week to get round to telling the travelling public about Monarch Scheduled’s two new routes.

Manchester to Tenerife starts a daily service from 01 Nov 2003 and Manchester to Gibraltar start a three-times-per-week service with effect from 03 Nov 2003. Woo-hoo!!

Also, for those of you who think we may be expensive in comparison to other low-costers, we have a promotion on just now for all routes (except LTN/TFS). Fares start at a mere £12 (not a typo!) from LTN, £15 from LGW and £22 from MAN each way (plus taxes etc) on the website (http://www.flymonarch.com). Available for travel between Nov 03 and Jan 04, outbound travel Tuesday to Friday, inbound travel Sunday to Wednesday. Returns work out around £45 – £60 including taxes – not bad me thinks, considering the service offered on board.

Incidentally, Wingflaps2 and myself went to Gibraltar recently for a long weekend and then on to Morocco for a daytrip (which turned it into a ‘dirty’ weekend in the true sense of the word!!). Gibraltar is fantasic for a long weekend – more to do and see than you’d think.
