I’ll be brief so you dont get bored !!
Put in an , On Line bid , with a local auction house . It was a for a 2 owner , 2002 Jaguar X-type 2.5 Saloon . ONly 48.000 miles on clock & 11 months MOT .
Unblemished Chilli red paint also with Jag 4×4 system & manual gearbox..I put in an amazing low stupid pocket money bid….
Well ****** me if I didnt win …beat trade dealers by £50. I popped down to the auction Gave them some plastic & drove it home ( Nice Drive 194 bhp )
That’ll teach me to Impulse buy … Dont need 3 cars …so it looks like banging it on Piston Heads ….& maybe copping for a few £££ bunce ….

In terms of capital cost the petrol Jagdeo is a great buy. An equivalent diesel still fetches a good percentage more.
I have no great love for the shape, but we bought our 2.0D in 2008 with 111,000 on the clock. It’s still with us at about 180,000 with the only major expense being a clutch sometime last year.
Quiet, comfortable, reliable. What’s not to like?

Oh, you have a car with 3 pedals? How quaint 😀

Very fair price for one of those, nice cars with less in common with the mondeo then you may think…..

Good deal.
Not really my cup of tea but I can see why people might like it.
