Hi All
Another idle moment on Ebay has resulted in another package of rusty metal appearing at the front door
According to the sellers description it is part of a fuel tank from a Spitfire, however the part number ‘30046’ on what appears to be a drain plug would associate it with the oil system (30045 being the code for the fuel system if I have got it right and ‘300’ being the prefix for a Spitfire Mk1).
Is anyone able to cast an eye over and see if they can ID it.
